LAWS 502 Evidence
A study of the general character of the law of evidence, including real and circumstantial evidence, qualifications and impeachment of witnesses, expert testimony, corroboration, admissions, confessions, the "best evidence" rule, the "hearsay" rule and its exceptions, privileges, and authentication of documentary evidence. Students who enter SULC in Fall 2023 or after must successfully complete only the following course prior to taking 502 Evidence: 404 Criminal Law (civil law track students) or 1404 Criminal Law (common law track students).
